Story is the primary progressive mode in Anime Expeditions. The visual selector above covers School Grounds, Flower Forest, Rose Kingdom, Fairy King Forest and King’s Tomb. Each map includes Act 1–5, Infinite and Mastery, with direct image cards for difficulty, bosses, rewards, Food, documented map effects and equipment targets.
How to use the visual stage guide
Choose a map first, then use the vertical Act buttons on desktop or the compact Act row on mobile. Numbered Acts let you switch between Normal and Hard without leaving the selected stage. Infinite displays its every-five-wave reward row, while Mastery shows the documented Hard-only base row and map-specific Equipment targets.
The Stage Effects area shows icons documented in the public map asset set. It is a map-level reference, not a claim that every listed effect is active in every Act. Always read the live Stage Effects panel before locking a team that depends on one Element, Archetype or crowd-control mechanic.
How to read the reward cards
The reference pages display more than one currency-and-EXP row for Normal and Hard. The visual guide preserves those rows separately instead of adding them together or guessing that one is always a first-clear reward. Check the label shown by the current game client to determine whether a row is repeatable, star-based or one-time.
For numbered Acts, Hard shows larger reward values but is only efficient when the clear is stable. Act 5 is the documented Equipment target on every map. Mastery has its own Equipment pool and is shown as Hard-only on the reference pages.
Route planning for Act 1–5
Start with an opener that can stop early enemies, then build one main damage zone where the path overlaps. Save enough Yen for the named boss rather than upgrading every placement evenly. A completed carry, one coverage unit and one answer to the active Stage Effects are easier to evaluate than several unfinished units.
After a loss, record the map, Act, difficulty, wave, boss HP and active effect. If regular waves leak, adjust opener timing or coverage. If only the boss survives, move resources from extra wave clear into sustained single-target damage. If a resistance or immunity disables the team, change damage type or utility instead of rerolling a good unit blindly.
Infinite and Mastery
Infinite uses the map enemy pool, cycles the five named bosses and continues with uncapped wave scaling. Enter it for the displayed periodic rewards or to test a team’s ceiling; a short Story clear build may not have enough late-wave economy.
Mastery consolidates the map pool into one Hard stage according to the reference. Farm it when the displayed Equipment directly improves a unit you intend to keep. Before starting, confirm the item name, displayed percentage, pity counter and whether the target unit can equip it.
Story FAQ
How many Story maps are documented?
Five: School Grounds, Flower Forest, Rose Kingdom, Fairy King Forest and King’s Tomb. The live selector remains the authority if an update adds or rotates a map.
How many stages does each map have?
The reference documents five numbered Acts, one Infinite Act and one Mastery Act. Numbered Acts have Normal and Hard; Mastery is shown as Hard-only.
Are the displayed drop rates final?
They reproduce the Miraheze inner-page snapshot requested for this guide. Check the current in-game stage card and pity counter because a balance update can change either label.
