Anime Expeditions Raids Guide

Unlock Anime Expeditions Raids, enter Spirit City, prepare for its three acts, divide co-op roles and spend raid currencies without guessing live drops.

Raids are the roster check after early Story progression. The official Anime Expeditions Raid teaser establishes Raids as developer-promoted content, while current independent guides agree on the practical entry route: reach the live account requirement, open Areas, switch to Gamemode, choose Raids, and select an available act. Spirit City is the currently documented raid, and its three acts demand more than raw rarity. Bring dependable boss damage, lane coverage and a plan for the active enemy modifiers.

Verification status: Raid existence and the teaser are Official. Player level 25, the Areas menu route, Spirit City Acts 1–3 and the two-currency shop loop are Community corroborated by current guides checked 2026-07-28. Exact drop rates, pity, shop prices, stock and boss numbers remain Needs in-game testing.
Miraheze Spirit City snapshot · checked 2026-07-28: the interactive Act cards below reproduce the displayed equipment/unit rates, pity labels, tokens, currency, EXP and Bunny Candy values from the reference inner page. Treat them as the requested current reference, then compare the live Raid card before farming.

The official teaser is useful for recognizing the Raid presentation and combat scale; use the live menu for current acts and rewards.

Unlock and enter Raids

Multiple current guides place the Raid unlock at Player Level 25. If the button remains locked at that level, read the live requirement rather than repeatedly rejoining; a Story, quest or account milestone may also be shown in a newer build. Player level comes naturally from active progression, so continue clearing Story, quests and any already unlocked mode instead of spending premium resources merely to rush the number.

Once available, open the left-side Areas menu, select the Gamemode tab and choose Raids. Press the displayed interaction control to open map and act selection. You can practice alone or use matchmaking where offered. Confirm that the chosen act, difficulty and party are the ones you intended before launching; joining a deep act with a fresh party wastes more time than stepping down once.

Spirit City act finder

Current guides and the supplied Spirit City assets agree on three acts led by Glam Reaper, Silver Serpent and Berserker. Choose an Act to see its reference reward card and the preparation that matters most.

Act 1 · Glam Reaper

Hard. Establish stable lane coverage and learn the Spirit City effects before investing in the deeper Acts.

EquipmentHair Bells · 5% · 20-run pity
EquipmentSpirit of the Moonblade · 5% · 20-run pity
EquipmentShinigami Sword · 2.5%
Currencies125 Gems · 125 Gold · 10 Raid Tokens · 10 Spirit Tokens
Experience / food1,000 Unit EXP · 145 Player EXP · 2 Bunny Candy

The deeper act is not automatically the best farm. Compare completion consistency, time and the specific reward you need. If Act 3 fails half the time while Act 2 clears cleanly, the lower act can be the better route until one upgrade changes the matchup.

Build a Raid team by jobs

Start with an opener that can control the first waves without consuming the entire economy. Add broad lane coverage for groups, then preserve a dedicated source of sustained single-target damage for the boss. Include support only when its buff, debuff or utility works against the current stage effects. Some current Spirit City documentation warns that bosses can resist crowd control, so a slow or stun should assist damage rather than replace it.

Farm units can stabilize upgrade timing, but they need a break-even window. If the act opens aggressively, placing too much economy before damage creates the leak that ends the run. In co-op, agree on who funds early defense and who saves. Duplicate farm placements are wasteful when nobody owns the boss phase.

Equipment, evolution, traits and Stat Potential all matter, but do not reroll every system immediately after one loss. First identify whether enemies escaped, the boss survived, or the team ran out of in-stage currency. Improve the corresponding unit or placement. Rare materials belong on a unit you expect to keep across several modes.

Handle modifiers instead of forcing a tier list

Spirit City documentation shows stage effects that can change speed, durability, control resistance and the way enemies respond to hits. Read the act card every session. Place coverage early enough to identify fast enemies before they leave the main damage zone, and avoid building a team whose entire safety plan is one control effect.

When an enemy is resistant or immune, damage diversity becomes more valuable than adding another copy of the same carry. Keep one flexible slot until you know the act. If the boss ignores crowd control, move investment into sustained damage, buffs or a debuff that the panel does not block.

For a failed run, record the wave and modifier. If ordinary waves break through, improve coverage or opener timing. If the boss survives, shift upgrades toward single-target output and stop over-upgrading early placements. If the team collapses after a disruptive effect, change positioning so one event cannot disable every important unit.

Raid Tokens, Spirit Tokens and shop decisions

Current guides distinguish Raid Tokens from Spirit Tokens. Raid Tokens belong to the broader Raid shop; Spirit Tokens are tied to Spirit City. Community sources also agree that shop stock can be limited. Exact prices, limits and reset behavior must be checked in the live shop on 2026-07-28.

Reroll materials

Buy only when you have equipment or a unit worth protecting. A lock can matter more than another blind roll.

Account upgradePlayer decision

Before spending, scan the entire shop, note purchase limits and decide one account goal. A Stat Lock is useful when protecting a strong line; a Trait Crystal is useful when a keeper is ready; equipment materials matter when you own the corresponding piece. Buying a little of everything can leave every upgrade unfinished.

Solo, matchmaking and recovery

Solo is a clean way to test placement and see exactly which role is missing. Matchmaking is better when the act expects multiple jobs, but only if the group communicates. In the lobby, state the act and ask who has economy, support and boss damage. During the run, announce before spending a large reserve or moving the main upgrade target.

If the queue produces an unbalanced team, leave before launch or choose a lower act. Do not blame rarity after a loss without checking placement and upgrade order. A modest roster with clear responsibilities can outperform four players waiting for someone else to open.

Raid mistakes and FAQ

  • Do not treat old drop percentages or pity values as permanent.
  • Do not spend both token types as if they use one shared shop.
  • Do not rely on crowd control before reading boss immunity.
  • Do not queue the deepest act simply because it is unlocked.
  • Do not equip a unit-specific item on a character it does not support.

What level unlocks Raids?

Current guides agree on Player Level 25. The live lock panel is final if a patch adds another condition.

How many Spirit City acts are documented?

Three. Check the Raid selector for additions or rotations after 2026-07-28.

Should I farm the highest act?

Farm the highest act you can clear consistently and that displays the reward you need. Completion rate matters more than the prestige of the act number.

Are exact Raid drops listed here?

No. Public sources disagree or become stale quickly. The current act panel, pity display and inventory result are the final verification.
